Today we set up our blog website.
5/6/16
Today we did some more work on the blog and wrote the "What is an ROV" page and "The Challenge" page. I wrote the segment on the ROV page about What an ROV is and some of the tools involved. I also wrote how the In n out challenge works and the operation fix it challenge.

Today I graded our blog and checked that each page was done thoroughly. Then I redesigned the blog a little bit while we were waiting for our interview. Then I started taping my motors.
5/12/16
Today I finished taping the motors and drilled the canisters for them. Then I started stripping the wire for the tether I will need to attach to it.
5/13/16
Today I finished waterproofing the motors by putting wax over the shaft and coiling the wire in and putting wax over that. I messed up at one point by having rachel solder the brown wires onto the motor instead of the green. But we were able to fix it. I then started to assemble the propellers.
5/20/16
I glued the propellers to the motors and took pictures as my group put together the whole ROV. We started testing it but our noodles were too big.
5/24/16
We tested our ROV again and cut the pool noodles so it would move perfectly. Then we bought zip ties, a hanger, a net, and duct tape. We put the net on the ROV with zip ties to pick up the octopus and we cut the hanger on to pick up the oil cap. Then we put the velcro on for the camera.
